Foster parenting in New Zealand?

How many New Zealand foster parents are there? How do you get into foster parenting? Where do you go who do you see? Seriously concidering doing this and want some advice from others in NEW ZEALAND!!!

    ring child and youth services and vist your closets citizens advice bureau thes places should be able to point you in the right direction.
    There are also places where kids go and the live in a group family situation where foster parents and kids live like normal families in separet housing but all on 1 campus and some kids go to schools on campus and others go to school in suurounding schools in the area. i know there are a few of these in nz
    we need good foster parents in this country.
