If someone wanted to be a foster parent, do they get paid extra to watch the kids or do they have to get a second job?

I heard that you get paid for “expenses” in the UK, like two hundred pound a month so you’d have to work still i’m afraid!

They DO NOT get paid directly. But they do get enough money from the state to take care of the kids. And to be totally truth-full MANY MANY MANY of these people live very nicely. I honestly suspect that the money they get is NOT always used for the kids.

They get paid a minimum amount. People shouldnt be a foster parent for the money, they should do it for the child. Most children are in foster care because someone didnt want them.
People need to think of the children not the money!!
