Amen Mama T-Boz! There is no BET, MTV, MTV2, or VH1 allowed with my young daughter either. You have to monitor what they watch and listen too. It is your parental responsiblity to properly guide them.

T-Boz is absolutely right about BET. I think it’s sad though because my mother let me watch BET when I was little but only because there were no naked women or sexual content on it. But when they started making videos like that I stopped watching it on my own. Little kids today can’t do that because they can’t decide where to draw the line on there own because the videos aren’t like the ones that were on when I was little.

i completely agree with t-boz on the tv issue. i don’t let my eight year old watch bet either. disney all the way! i know she knows it’s out there but she also knows that i think it is unacceptable. if i allowed her to watch it, she will think that i would allow her to repeat the behavior she sees and i can’t have that!!!
