Well, us Americans don’t get our undies in a bunch when you say “American accent”. There are lots of different reigonal accents. I personally have a Chicago accent, but if I went over to the U.K., you would probly mistake for a standard American accent. You don’t see me, or any other American with a regional accent getting all offended.
It’s a British accent because you are in Britain and have an accent. Deal with it. We deal with your rubbish.
