I say spanking kids is the only way to teach them right from wrong. My daddy used to whoop the tar out of me. He once hit me so hard my spleen fell out of my ear. Didn’t do me no harm. Look at me now, I’m the best pest- control guy in east Portland. I’ve killed more rats, roaches and vermin that you can imagine, and I love it. This is such a great country, I wouldn’t be where I am today if my daddy hadn’t beat me senseless.

In my opinion being able to outsmart your kid with talking and negotiating with them is the real tough love that a parent/MENTOR should show. Parents that automatically hit toddlers for misbehaving is absolutely stupid to me. Little kids don’t know right from wrong and yet they still spank them. Parents that spank there kids say “oh it doesn’t hurt them” don’t know how much it actually effects them. Do you honestly think a kid is going to show their true feelings to such an intolerant adult?

Children should never be afraid of their parents. Fear does not equal respect.

I heard this saying once: “When a girl turns 18, her mother becomes her friend.” Keyword: becomes. You can’t be your 2 year old kid’s friend. You have to maintain authority at all times. You give a kid an inch, and he’ll take a mile. I don’t believe in beating children, but spanking small children who simply don’t listen is necessary sometimes. I remember getting spanked myself, and I know I deserved it.

thats effin stupid, if your not there friend, there going to find other people to talk to, most likely people you wouldnt like to, if your kids cant rely on you, who can they rely on -_-

the problem is that parents dont give a damn about their kids. otherwise, they would be more patient and talk it out instead of “YOU BETTER GET OVER HERE YOU MOTHAFUCKA.”

spanking is not the option at all… parents may start doing it once in a while but if they have no self control then they are going to like being the big badass that can beat a small kid…my mom taught me all of this and im 15 and when my niece came to visit i used the no spanking shit and what i do is warn her and if she starts whining or something i just ignore her until shes stops whining and she is honestly a good kid…and ur child will lose trust in u and will be affected l8r on in life
